  • Will the wedding be recognised in Ireland ?

Whether it is a civil wedding or a church wedding in Italy or Prague the marriage is recognised legally in Ireland.

  • What if either partner is divorced?

Divorce precludes the availability of a catholic wedding but ceremonies in other churches are possible and civil services remain an option as long as the final decree has been obtained.

  • Is it possible to avail of a full religious ceremony everywhere in Italy ?

Not quite everywhere as some Bishops have refused to allow overseas weddings in their diocese. Be sure to check before booking that this is not the case in the area of your choice.

  • Do you organise weddings of all sizes ?

From 2 to 200 and more if necessary.

  • Do you organise weddings for just the bride and groom ?

We have arranged weddings where only the bride and groom travel and we can arrange witnesses for the day.

  • How long does the legal paperwork take ?

While it is possible to complete all the requirements in two months it is best to allow four so to have ample time.

  • Are there any restrictions on music ?

Many places, particularly in towns and cities insist that all music ends before midnight and some even stipulate that any music must be subdued at all times. It is possible however to book receptions in certain locations not too isolated that allow for music dance and drink into the small hours.

  • Can we have a DJ ?

Most places we use for receptions allow for disco but be sure to check.

  • Can an English speaking priest perform our ceremony ?

Invariably we can source an English speaking priest.

  • Do you have a coordinator in Italy who could help us should we decide to visit a preferred location ?

We have different coordinators in different areas and so long as given adequate notice they will be happy to meet prospective clients and show them a location in advance of the final decision regarding location.

  • Once we decide on a location how soon should we put down a deposit ?

The location including ceremony and services will be confirmed only on contract and deposit. So the sooner the contract is signed and deposit is paid the sooner we can confirm and guarantee the package.

  • Can we include extras in our package ?

All packages we show are samples and each couple build their own package to include any requests they might have.

  • How far in advance should we start planning our wedding ?

In order to be sure to get the location of your choice the sooner the better but where circumstances demand and a good degree of flexibility is present we can arrange weddings in 4 to six months.

  • Is there a variety of choices of menu ?

The wedding meal is extremely important to Italians so menu choices and other options are always plentiful.

  • Do I need to have witnesses if I want a civil wedding ?

Yes it is impossible to have civil certification without witnesses but we can if necessary provide witnesses.

  • Can I arrange a meeting face to face to discuss locations ?

We encourage at least one face to face meeting and there is no charge for these consultations.

  • Can we get testimonies from other couples who have availed of your services ?

We have a number of previous clients happy to assure you and give you pointers.

  • Can I have my ceremony and reception outdoors ?

Most locations have the option of outdoor receptions but must have availability of an indoor option should the weather turn inclement. Catholic weddings take place in church only but there are some outdoor possibilities for civic only weddings.

  • Can we rent a castle for our wedding ?

No problem, well as long as your budget can stand it that is !!!

  • If I have already organised the church can you still assist me in organising the wedding reception and accommodation ?

We will try to assist in any way possible but of course cannot take responsibility for any aspect that you choose to arrange for yourself.

  • If either partner is not Irish is there a difference in the documentation required ?

Each country has its own paperwork requirements but most are quite similar. Check with your coordinator as soon as you are ready to go ahead.

  • Do you arrange flights ?

No we do not arrange flights as it is now safest, cheapest and easiest for individuals to book their own on the web.
